Kaiso (or calypso) is a genre of music originating in the Caribbean island of Trinidad. This particular genre is thought to come from West Africa (kaa iso or "continue, go on") and is noted for it's subject matter dealing with social commentary and the sometime usage of double entendres. Today, kaiso can be found on most Caribbean islands.
Earrings are approximately 3" long and 2" wide. Composed of a large wooden pendant, a brass pendent with patina finish, natural and blue shell drops and a moon man brass charm. Earrings can be matched with bracelet and/ or necklace from the collection.
