Product Description

Spouge is a style of Barbadian (Bajan) popular music created by Jackie Opel in the 1960s. It is thought to be primarily a fusion of Jamaican ska with Trinidadian calypso, but with additional influences from the British Isles (literature, poetry, folk songs, sea shanties & classical music) and the US (love songs, parlor songs, African-American spirituals and folk hymns, and hillbilly music). Spouge instrumentation originally consisted of cowbell, bass guitar, trap set and various other electronic and percussion instruments, later augmented by saxophone, trombone and trumpet.

2" wide gold-plated hoops earrings. Each earring is accented with golden yellow and brown Czech glass beads, gold quartz beads, brown capiz shells, wooden beads and antique gold disks all cascading from antique gold and gold-plated chains.
